Today I was going to have a more elaborate post about the Great Artists and learning about art with your kids. I was going to tell you about this book series we found:How Artists See 6-Volume Collection And also this one by Sister Wendy:Sister Wendy’s 1000 Masterpieces.
I might have told you how reading this article: 5 Easy Steps for Talking with Kids About Art, has helped me feel WAY less awkward learning about art with my kids (Thank you Rachelle at Tinkerlabs!!!)
If I was really on top of things I was going to possibly do some art with my kids to share with you.
AS IT TURNS OUT:
My four year old has a new bike and we’re taking the training wheels off this morning while Grammy and Pop Pop are here! I can’t miss this! So I’m hosting this link up today along with Red Ted Art, The Imagination Tree, Mom to 2 Posh lil Divas, Imagination Soup and Tinkerlab– and forgive me, you’ll have to check out their brilliant posts and browse through the links below to get inspired.
I’ve got to go see a little boy ride his bike!!
If you’ve done some art inspired by great artists please link up below! By linking up you give permission for your post to be featured at any of the sites hosting the linky and for us to pin on Pinterest- we’ll always give appropriate credit.
