Christmas Present, Christmas Past | Day 24 Creative Christmas Countdown
Today, on our last day of the Creative Christmas Countdown, our blogger brings you “simple activities that can be completed anywhere.” These aren’t just any activities.
We’ve done plenty of crafts and had fun, but Kristi of Creative Connections for Kids, will help you come back to what I know is your top priority: having an intentional family celebration.
Christian or not, Christmas is about connecting with those you love.

Darling Readers, I feel that in order to keep from misleading you , I must tell you a little bit about my self. Here goes:
I’m not Christian. I am a Unitarian Universalist.
My faith is one based on covenant, not creed, thus we UU’s with our differing beliefs, are bound together by our commitment to treating others with dignity, respect and a willingness to learn from what is different from ourselves.
But I’m not really here to tell you about that. I am just here to be honest in who I am. A few years ago I would have looked at the image above and left this page in a hustle…
And by leaving I would have missed out on a really great post that isn’t written to push something at me, but to help me to connect with my family. I guess that’s what I needed to tell you.
Let’s be honest about who we are, and let’s stay in the room and learn from one another.
Thank you SO MUCH for joining me for this countdown. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as we bloggers have! If you’d like to stay connected with Creative With Kids in 2012, click here to sign up for the biweekly newsletter.

Thanks Kristi, and thanks for writing a post for the countdown. It’s been wonderful working with everyone. Merry Christmas!
Alissa, I highly respect your honesty and transparency. What I have loved the most about our blogging group, and from blogging in general, is learning from one another. Though we have differing backgrounds and opinions, we have both shared our heart and it has been received with kindness and compassion. I love your statement: Let’s be honest about who we are, and let’s stay in the room and learn from one another. Well said! Kristi
