Creative Christmas Day 13 – A Card Idea For Those Far Far Away
One of those small interactions with a child that makes your day AND theirs: pretending to catch the kiss they blow to you and ::smack:: put it on your cheek. Can’t get enough of those.
Terri from Creative Family Fun shares a tutorial for sending some of that childhood charm to people you love who are far, far away. Head over to her site to see the Blowing Kisses cards and, of course, see what other creative fun she has going on!
Crafty Tip:
Breaking up projects into 10 to 20 minute chunks can make them more fun. Stage a project like “Making Cards for Grandma” over a couple crafty sessions to keep it from turning into a long hard slog. The first part could be taking a picture or making a painting (which you can glue onto a card later if you’ve given out a small enough piece of paper.) The next session, maybe after lunch of maybe the next day, could be when the kids write or dictate to you what they want to say.
We hope you are having a lovely December. Tomorrow, day 14 will be at Red Ted Art and feature an activity idea from another one of my favorite bloggers, Rainy Day Mum!

Great idea to break the session into manageable chunks!
