Creative Christmas Day 3 – Homemade Giftwrap and Tags
So, who’s wrapped gifts already? (Not me!!) With all the talk online one can get to feeling *mighty* behind, but I don’t think we’re too bad off. Today’s countdown event is all about making gift wrap, so if you’ve still got gifts to shop for and wrap, this is actually perfect timing 😉
Click over to the Imagination Tree to see her beautiful and easy to make kid-made gift wrap and tags. As a mom to three little ones and a former teacher, Anna is an expert on making kid activities simple and fun.
Crafting Tip:
If you have a baby or toddler you want to entertain while you do a craft with an older child, sometimes the younger child will be satisfied with sitting in a highchair nearby and exploring similar materials. They can rip, shred and mush while you craft and create. If the highchair has a plastic tray you can even use it as a temporary art canvas and let them paint or color with washable markers right on the tray.
Make sure you visit Red Ted Art for Day 4 of the Countdown – a new Christmas activity and a new tip for crafting with your kids over the holidays! See you again on the 5th!
