Decorate the Kids Rooms | Day 12 Creative Christmas Countdown
Uh oh. Has it happened again? Have you joined the Hum-Bug Christmas Scrooges?
This tends to be the time in December when Christmas starts to stress me out. Even in this year when I’ve been REALLY focusing on simplicity and connection, I’ll tell you what- a week of passing around a cold and dealing with cranky kids definitely has me almost ready to toss coal in the stockings and hide under the covers until January.
But shake it off! C’mon! Today’s task, I promise it will put a smile on your face and reinvigorate that Christmas cheer.
Jamie, at Hands On As We Grow, will show you how she’s been spreading Christmas magic in her home.

Traditions do NOT need to be complicated to be memorable and meaningful. All we’ve got in our boy’s room is one strand of lights, but trust me, that is enough for them to get pretty excited.
Reading Christmas stories by the light of those glowing decorations definitely helps everyone relax and connect, even if we’ve been a bit Scrooge-like earlier in the day.
I hope you enjoy the wonder you can bring, by bringing Christmas right into your kid’s room.
