Feed The Birds | Day 10 Creative Christmas Countdown

I’ve been looking forward to today, because I know how much joy this simple activity will bring my kids.  Recently we went to a birthday party and the party favor to take home was bird seed and  a popcorn chain to hang on our tree (isn’t that great?), and we are lucky to have a variety of birds that visit our neighborhood.  That popcorn chain has attracted finches and other feathery friends.

A couple days ago my six year old informed me: “We have GOT to make another popcorn chain for the birds, and I know how.” He started lecturing chatting about every deatail of how he would chain popcorn while his younger brother looked out the window quietly and said, “OH! Look Mama! Dat bird is Beautiful!”
