At some point today, mention a great quality about one of your kids to someone else, within earshot of the child you’re talking about.
This is a way to support habits and character traits in your children that you’d love to encourage. You don’t want to be false about of course, but simple celebrate how helpful or kind your kids are. You may find it gives you a boost too. When I talk about how much I appreciate a child’s help or company it drives home how truly grateful I am – win all around!
